Job Description:
- We are looking for an exceptional System Administrator to operate and manage the Large Infrastructure with a huge petabyte-scale storage environment
- Good knowledge and working experience with Linux Operating systems
- Strong understanding of Linux Networking/NFS/FTP/SAMBA/user administration/file permissions/Patching
- Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP and SNMP
- Fault finding, analysis and logging information for reporting performance exceptions
- Good Knowledge of troubleshooting HW issues & co-ordinating with Vendor to fix
- Maintain best practices for managing systems and services across all environments
- Engineering of systems administration-related solutions for various project and operational needs
- Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes
- Familiarity with Puppet, VMWare and SAN
- Hands-on experience working with Nutanix, AWS & Hadoop clusters is good to have
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day work involves working with building, patching and maintaining Linux servers deployed across multiple data centres located across the globe
- Managing the Petabyte scale storage environments(storage types Include SAN, NAS and Object storage)
- Working on VMware and Nutanix hyper-converged infrastructure
- working on creating Linux containers and managing them
- Managing the code on configuration management tools like Puppet and working with the git repository
