Job Description
- Good experience with MySQL cluster setup, good knowledge of MySQL architecture, designs, types of storage engines in MySQL
- Experience in backup and recovery, types of backups and difference between logical and physical backups in MySQL
- Experience in slave setup and selective DB replication setup, multichannel replication setup
- Having good knowledge of Postgres and Oracle DB is an additional
- Production experience with at least one of the technologies such as Marathon, HAProxy, Apache, Linkerd
- Experience with Kubernetes (K8S), HELM, Istio, Rancher, GitOps, Docker, Container, Orchestration, Jenkins and Puppet is an added benefit
- Experience with Linux configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting
- Experience with Hardware Load Balancers, Network configuration, Firewalls and troubleshooting
- Experience with BigData technologies (Hadoop, HBase, ElasticSearch, Spark Streaming, Kafka, CDH) is a Plus
- Relational DB experience (MySQL or Oracle) REST, microservices
- Multi-data centre distributed architecture, support and planning
- Grafana, logstash, Kibana, Java, Scala, Python
- Zeppelin / Notebooks
- Incident management, reporting, communication, production feedback process
- Security, PK, JWT and related best practices
- Natural influencer, and selfless team player, willing to help your team achieve great things
- Provide hardware architectural guidance, planning, estimating cluster capacity, and creating roadmaps
